Question by tinklefairy: What are some good diet supplements? and is you recommend it have you tried it?
I need something to help me loose weight.. I exercise frequently and eat healthy, but I haven’t lost any weight. I am not willing to go on an Adkins diet or anything like that. i just need some help or a little booster to help. Thanks

Answer by butterfliesRfree You aren’t stating your age and that can make a difference. a lady I worked with said Relacor (sp?) was working for her. The only thing that concerns me about them is, if you stop, do you start gaining weight again? Some of them make me nervous — I wouldn’t want to HAVE to take it the rest of my life ya know?

My son is almost three and could possibly have ADHD. I don’t want him medicated as I don’t think it’s serious enough unless the doctors thinks so but I have heard several comments about making diet changes for your child to help with the disorder. What do they mean dieting changes? What is a good diet for a toddler to be on?

My workout routine usually consists of running 1.5 miles and doing different types of weight training. I wanting to lose 10-12 pounds that I have put on after entering college, but this has been a very hard task for me thus far. So…I’m looking for a good fitness bar to eat after I workout to help me with my weight loss process. Thanks for any advice.

Answer by Cameron The best fitness bars that I know of that you can buy after workouts are Myoplex bars. I used to do intense training workout sessions and whenever the session was over the trainer would give us either a Myoplex shake or Myoplex bar depending on the intensity of the workout.

Answer by Health Guy The key to starting an exercise routine is to make the changes slowly. You can’t go from being sedentary to active overnight and hope to succeed. Start out by exercising 1-2 times per week and eventually moving up to 3-5 times per week. Only increase the amount of exercise you do per week when you feel ready.
Exercise routines also have to be well rounded to be successful. You need elements of flexibility, cardiovascular and strength training. You don’t need to go to the gym to get a good workout, but having access to that type of equipment is a definite plus. Flexibility isn’t very intensive and can be done on most if not all days of the week. It won’t directly help you with your goals but it will lead to better performance – it will make exercising a lot easier.
Cardio should be done 3-5 times per week while strength training should be done 2-3 times per week. The more weight you want to lose, the more you need to exercise. If this seems confusing, you can get a free personalized workout routine at http://shtrainer.com
