Question by tha_gawd: When Body building what is the best way to workout?
Should i target one group of muscles a day(i.e. monday-shoulders, Tuesday – chest, Wednesday- Triceps,) or Work secondary muscles i.e.(Monday-Upper Chest, Biceps, Tuesday-Middle Chest, Triceps, Wednesay-Front Deltoids, Quads) Which is more effective or better?
Best answer:
Answer by Dan S Both will work well as I have done both with success. Your best bet is to try one for a while and see how it goes then try the other. Another benefit to that is that changing things up every once in a while is also good.
I’ve been on the following split for quite a while:
Day1 – Chest and Biceps
Day2 – Back and Triceps
Day3 – Shoulders and Traps
Day4 – Legs
Off days vary from 1 to 3 days a week. I’ve been making gains and feeling good about this one. When I stop liking it or it stops working I’ll change it up! Hope that helps.

Question by thegorillaman13: If you are not feeling sore in the parts of your body you workout, are you still building muscle?
I often hear people say how sore they are from working out the day before. If you dont feel this overwhelming soreness the day after Working out, are you not building muscle? Does someone who has this soreness at an advantage, in the sense of building muscle, over someone who doesnt have it? If you need this soreness, what could be the problem that is preventing this soreness? Please tell me anything you about this subject.
Best answer:
Answer by Dave87gn Soreness is what you want to avoid. It means you have damaged the muscle—- catabolism.
You can train your body to build muscle WITHOUT breaking them down if you’re smart. You will build muscle faster because you skip the stage where the muscle have to repair( soreness) before it can build

My featured tip uses weights in order to expedite achieving strong abdominal muscles in less time while using traditional crunches. You don’t have to spend enormous amounts of time doing situp routines if you use proper form and concentrate on using your abdominal muscles properly. Please give it a try. You will see results! Remember good form is the key and so is consistency. I never leave the gym without doing my ab work. A strong core will help your back as well if you suffer from back problems. Be careful when adding weights to your routine if you have any type of neck or back injury. You don’t want to make it worse. Start with light weights if you are new to using weights. I hope this video was helpful! I welcome any comments you might have! Please remember to Subscribe!!! There’s more to come! Video Rating: 4 / 5

Question by Ashley Kazan: What is a good fitness workout?
I am about 5’4 and I weigh about 135. I don’t want to lose a substantial amount of weight, only about 10-15 pounds. I want to start working out at my local gym but I don’t know what to do once I get in there. What are the best machines and other things that would help me tone up and lose a little bit of weight. Please, if you are a personal trainer or a weight loss expert etc. please help me out!

Answer by Health Guy The key to starting an exercise routine is to make the changes slowly. You can’t go from being sedentary to active overnight and hope to succeed. Start out by exercising 1-2 times per week and eventually moving up to 3-5 times per week. Only increase the amount of exercise you do per week when you feel ready.
Exercise routines also have to be well rounded to be successful. You need elements of flexibility, cardiovascular and strength training. You don’t need to go to the gym to get a good workout, but having access to that type of equipment is a definite plus. Flexibility isn’t very intensive and can be done on most if not all days of the week. It won’t directly help you with your goals but it will lead to better performance – it will make exercising a lot easier.
Cardio should be done 3-5 times per week while strength training should be done 2-3 times per week. The more weight you want to lose, the more you need to exercise. If this seems confusing, you can get a free personalized workout routine at http://shtrainer.com

Especially to lose weight and bulk up.
Thank you all!

Answer by jimmy.lemongrass Not this has anything to do with the category which this is under but cycling is my favorite fitness activity. These days, I run a lot more than I ride, because it’s faster, but definitely bicycling tops my favorite fitness activities list.
